The Nocturne: Art at Night Festival is fast approaching! This year’s event will take place on Saturday October 17 from 6pm – midnight, with a kick-off event on the night of October 15.
This completely free annual event showcases and celebrates the visual arts scene in Halifax. Nocturne, designed and planned by volunteers, is an opportunity for everyone to experience the art of Halifax in a whole new light. Our theme this year is “Found and Lost and Found.”
We are currently looking for local businesses to advertise in this year’s Program Guide. The guide, which is available in The Coast: Halifax Weekly’s October 15 Fall Arts issue and online at nocturnehalifax.ca, provides details about exhibitions in galleries and public spaces throughout the city. The Nocturne program and map informs residents and visitors alike to a variety of exhibitions in galleries and public spaces throughout the city for one night only.
Nocturne is a nonprofit organization which relies on sponsor and volunteer support. The Board of Directors and Nocturne Committee work on a volunteer basis to design and plan the signature Halifax art event.
We are hoping that your business will consider purchasing an advertisement in our program guide. This year, we are asking that local businesses include a one-night-only offer to festival patrons upon the presentation of the guide. By purchasing an ad in the Nocturne: Art at Night program guide, (Your business) will be directly supporting artists and volunteers
