My ceramic work is in constant motion. Shifting and changing from functional to sculptural, earthenware to stoneware. I work primarily with sgraffito (carving), slip cast molds, old photos, and decals. I move between nostalgic, playful work that evokes joyful memories of travel and nature; and more traditional glazed stoneware work that resides firmly in the present, exploring form and function, glaze and reaction, and the interplay of colour and texture.

Born and raised on the prairies, I am a NSCAD graduate and founder of Turnstile Pottery Cooperative. I have been making ceramic work, teaching pottery, and remembering beautiful things since 2000.
