Arjun Lal (he/they) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Kjipuktuk. His creative work has been focused on contemporary queer themes of identity, culture, and fetishization. Lal is inspired by their lived experiences as a queer Indian person living between cities on Turtle Island and in Berlin. Continuously searching for joy throughout their work, her research is primarily based around queer pleasure and new futures where things are better. With support from Canada Council for the Arts, they are currently producing a new series of photos, sculptures, and erotic videos.
