Nova Scotia Potters Guild
The Nova Scotia Potters Guild (NSPG) was established in 1991 to support and advance ceramics across the province. Today, the Guild includes over 150 members ranging from beginners to nationally recognized artists. Our mission is to promote pottery through education, exhibitions, community outreach, and professional development.
We host workshops with local and international artists, organize member exhibitions, social and community gatherings with the general public and provide shared resources to our pottery community. The Guild also engages in outreach programs to make ceramics accessible to broader audiences, from youth programs to mentorship initiatives for emerging potters.
Participation in Nocturne 2025 aligns perfectly with the Guild’s commitment to community engagement and public education. By activating a Waterfront Chalet with Grounded Vessels: Stories in Clay, we extend our reach to thousands of festival-goers, inviting them to experience the tactile and storytelling power of clay while showcasing the talent and diversity of our membership.
