The Dalhousie School of Architecture Nocturne Committee

The Dalhousie School of Architecture Nocturne Committee is a self-assembled group of students that comes together each year to participate in Nocturne through the design and construction of a temporary public installation. The 2026 team includes Adriana Lilley Osende, Christina Garcia, Claire MacDonald, Wilson Faught, and Mahmoud Istanbouli. Led by architecture students and often joined by collaborators from across the university community, the team develops a new project each year in response to Nocturne's curatorial theme
The project gives students the opportunity to interpret the annual theme through their own research, interests, and experiences, and to realize those ideas at full scale. Nocturne also opens the School of Architecture and its surrounding campus to the wider community, creating opportunities to collaborate with local organizations, share the school's spaces with visitors, and connect architectural education with the city beyond the studio.
