Nocturne: Art at Night is looking for volunteers! Be part of the action on Saturday, October 17th, 2015, and experience one of the most exciting festivals on the fall culture calendar. Several opportunities await you to join our team.

Please note that attendance at the Volunteer information session is mandatory to volunteer.

Artist assistants

You will help the artists by assisting them in the set up for their event, guide visitors of their event, and/or explain the nature of their event. Looking for an opportunity to tap into the inner artist that is within us all? This volunteer call is for you.

Hosts

You will greet visitors; help them navigate the various sites and hand out Nocturne Guides. Shifts will be of a maximum of 3 hours so you can go explore the event for yourself. If you like people and want to help, this is the way to go.

Travel guides

You will help visitors navigate their way to their next Nocturne adventure on a Metro Transit Nocturne bus or shuttle. If you know or can get to know downtown and if you like helping people, this opportunity awaits you.

Two information sessions for all volunteer positions will be held:

Monday, October 5th (Halifax) at 6pm (Propeller Brewery, 2015 Gottingen St.)

OR

Tuesday, October 6th (Dartmouth) at 6pm (Findlay Community Centre, 26 Elliot St., Dartmouth, next to Sullivan’s pond)

Join us to learn more about the details and to sign up.

*Attendance at an information session is mandatory to volunteer.
