COVID-19 Precautions
This year calls for some extra precautions and collective care when attending Nocturne.
Below are our COVID-19 precautions.
For more information on COVID-19, please visit the Nova Scotia government website.
MASK UP:
While attending a Nocturne project or event in person, please wear a mask and do not attend if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
PHYSICAL DISTANCE:
Maintain 6 feet of distance from others and all art installations and artists.
PLANNING:
Make a plan but be flexible, too! If you see lots of folks at a project, come back at another scheduled time when it may be less busy; or, wait your turn. Make sure to check the schedule and website for links and registrations. There is a lot happening so there is sure to be something for everyone!
INFO:
If you need assistance we will have Nocturne volunteers at the Halifax Central Library, Propeller on Quinpool and Gottingen, and roaming the Halifax waterfront. They will have programs and hand-sanitizer to your heart's content.
SAFER SPACES + COLLECTIVE CARE:
We ask that you do your part in caring for others around you. If you witness unsafe behaviour or need support contact [email protected] to have a volunteer dispatched who is trained in de-escalation. More info is available in our Festival Policies.
STAY CONNECTED:
Make sure to follow us on social media @NocturneHalifax and post about your experience using #NocHfx20
ACCESSIBILITY:
Where possible, we have added ASL and CC to online programming and have indicated the availability of these resources on the project description on our website. We are always learning ways to be more accessible, so please reach out if you need anything we aren’t offering.
