Oct 12: Inflatable Art & Architecture Workshop with Rachael Shannon

Discover the magic of the living, breathing sculptural form that is Inflatable Art!

Artist Rachael Shannon will lead participants through a brief overview of some of the applications of this extremely accessible and dynamic art form, and then into an exploration of basic techniques and materials involved in inflatable construction.
Participants will engage in a collaborative process that will result in making an inflatable piece to be housed in the gallery for the eve of Nocturne and the weeks following.

Materials provided, but if you bring your plastic shopping bags, broken umbrella nylon, or old tent pieces, we’ll put them to use!
No experience necessary. In collaboration with the Khyber Centre for the Arts.

Le materiel est fourni mais vous pouvez apporter des sacs en plastique, des parapluies cassés, des bouts de tentes etc..
