We push boundaries with art, not public safety.

This year we have worked closely with Public Health and the Province of Nova Scotia to bring you the most COVID safe festival possible.

The following safety protocols have been developed in concert with our partners at Communities Culture and Heritage and are in place to remain in line with the changing public health regulations and restrictions in place at the time of Nocturne (October 13-16). As things are in a state of constant flux we will continue to update this pace as new protocols are put in place.

ATTENDING A PROJECT

Nocturne projects are site specific which means there isn't a one size fits all protocol for attending each project. We will have signs at each project making it clear what levels of protocol are in place for that project.

Attendees will be required to:

  • Wear your mask at all indoor projects and when social distancing isn't possible.
  • Complete the COVID-19 Contact Tracing form at each project via a smartphone. If you don't have a smartphone you can ask a volunteer to help you sign in.
  • Present your Proof of Vaccination (PoV) and ID as required at many indoor projects. See this document which provides more information on how to show your PoV.
  • Practice good social distancing.
  • Stay home if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Respect all festival volunteers who are helping to keep the festival safe for all.

COVID-19 CHECK IN FORM

In an effort to increase the safety of our festival and following Public Health recommendations we are asking you to check in at each Nocturne project you attend. There are signs posted at projects asking you to check in.

We will use this data to help with contact tracing if there is an exposure at one of our project sites. Please continue to wear your mask when inside or when you can't physically distance and provide your proof of vaccination at venues as required.
