Nocturne's Call for Submissions and Low-Sensory Call are now open! Apply by April 7th, 2025.
Nocturne's 18th annual Art-at-Night Festival will take place October 16th-19th with dozens of outdoor and indoor installations, performances, interactive projects, artist talks, workshops, and more! Our Main Project Showcase will take place on Saturday, October 18th, 6:00 PM - Midnight.
This year's Festival Curator, Marite Kuus, has selected Ground as the festival theme which will inform and unite the many incredible projects to come.

Meet this year's festival curator, Marite Kuus
2025 Festival Curator Marite Kuus
Nocturne is excited to announce Marite Kuus as our 2025 Festival Curator!
Marite Kuus is an artist and curator based between Kjipuktuk, Mi’kma’ki and Tallinn, Estonia. In 2023 Marite participated in Nocturne as an Anchor artist, and in September 2024 she curated the 15th annual Antigonight Festival in Nalikitquniejk/Antigonish. She is currently a Master's student at the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn at the Craft Studies department where she is focusing on individual and communal relationships to matter and material, explored through collaborative interventions.
Nocturne 2025 Theme: Ground
