Harbourtown

Harbourtown is an audio experience of community-sourced experiences with our bodies of water, echoed back at us in the form of free-form poetry.
Harvesting text from responses to prompts, Lara Lewis and Mark Foster have forged an audio piece from statements, stories, and anecdotes about Halifax residents' experiences with our natural spaces, particularly the harbour and other bodies of water. The project is intended to be experienced in passing or in its entirety, either in-person at the waterfront of our own little Harbourtown, or online.
How do different people experience the same spaces? What common threads can be culled from respondents, and what contradicts them? How do you relate to the Harbour and the town around it?
