How do we move when we are stuck?

I have been searching for portals. The ephemeral moments where places and times intersect and create gateways into other spaces. Accessible points within the universe that generate movements and changes.

Access points are all around us concealed within doors, windows, relationships, themes, emotions, a flower, an object… They can appear anywhere at any time. I want to better understand them and navigate their ambiguity. How far can we possibly reach into space-time?

In the Bhagavad Gita, there is a story about Kishna, who got in trouble for eating dirt. His mother, Yashoda, asked her baby to open his mouth and when she looked inside she did not only see dirt. She saw mountains, forests, oceans, stars… Struck with wonder, Yashoda faints for a moment. And after awakening, she tightly hugs her baby and cries tears of joy.

I have been searching for holes. Portals. The ephemeral moments where places and times intersect and create gateways into other spaces. Accessible points within the universe that generate movements and changes. These are magical entities. They are gateways from one place to another. They are connectors.

Access points are all around us concealed within doors, windows, relationships, themes, emotions, a flower, an object… They can appear anywhere at any time. I want to better understand them and navigate their ambiguity. How far can we possibly reach into space-time?

I can see where I want to go. A better place where everyone has social security and a time where queer community is thriving. World peace. A “new future”. But I don’t know how to get there… and I worry that a linear pathway might take too long. We are constantly traveling in-line within three dimensions - around the sun, through a park, digestion… But what kind of non-linear movements can we make? Can we access other dimensions? I have arrived to understand that I am constantly living in multiple dimensions. My physical self that moves along axis and my mental self that exists elsewhere. An imagination is unreadable in a 3-dimensional plane.

I’ve heard about birds, anomalies, that found a pathway beyond gender and discovered the ability to lay their own offspring, independently. Anomalies exist. Imagining new ways and ideas can help us understand where we want to go, but how do we get there? Where are the access points? How do we travel through gates? And what can we do if there are resilient gatekeepers? What is our plan?
