While housing and access to clean water and health care in Canada become more and more desperate, militarization and investment in the industry of war is increasing. This activity presents the question to Nocturne visitors through an interactive activity. Two tubs represent the harbour - one for war one for peace. Fold a simple origami boat, write your message and place your boat in the harbour for war or the harbour for peace. Information regarding the environmental impact of war exercises, bases and equipment will be handed out along with white poppies which are worn to recognize the civilian casualties of war.
