As many have missed the adventure of travel, this wooden installation wants to celebrate your visit back to Halifax by getting a tattoo or a tattoo photo op. Traditional sailor tattoos date back hundreds of years. Each tattoo reflecting a distance of travel or a sailor’s goal having been accomplished. This piece represents Halifax Nova Scotia’s connection to the open waters and the combined mileage of all its visitors.
