Guided Mural Walk on Quinpool

Join local artist and the mastermind behind the Halifax Mural Festival; Mike Burt for a guided tour of the amazing murals on Quinpool Road! Hear about the artists and what the inspiration was behind their creations, what techniques were used and learn more about the impact these murals and others like them have on the community. Public Art has the ability to create a sense of energy, to inspire and uplift, and has been proven to decrease stress resulting in an overall mood booster. It is also a powerful tool in contributing to the sense of community by adding creative and colour elements to areas with limited green spaces; creating a new legacy for Quinpool Road.

Guided tours will take place on Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14, beginning at 7pm and 9pm, leaving from Dilly Dally and ending at the Oxford Taproom.
