In this new series of works, titled Woodland Critters, artist Dusan Postolovic aims to elicit a whimsical, fun and warm feeling in the viewer by creating a collection of colored pencil drawings of beloved woodland critters, some from our very own backyard! Further trying to create a sense of warmth, the artist has chosen to work on a warm off-white colored paper, and with a limited fall-inspired palette of colours for each drawing, to create a cohesive appearance and atmosphere. Dusan's ultimate goal when creating art is to create work that is understood and enjoyed by everyone at its face regardless of their knowledge or understanding of the art world, and hopes that viewers can look to enjoy all the wonderful furry and cuddly critters included in this series of work.

This body of work by artist Geordan Moore consists mainly of a selection of re-worked “test” or “mono” prints. A big part of artist Geordan's printmaking process involves pulling test prints to make sure everything is running smoothly on the press. To save precious unmarked paper, he re-uses old test prints over and over and they build up layers, they start to become interesting pieces of art on their own. Many of the pieces will have a neon/glow factor that is sure to be enjoyed with our lighting enhancements and viewing booths. Geordan Moore founded his Dartmouth-based print studio and apparel company in 2010. It’s been going gangbusters ever since, producing clothing, household items, accessories, art prints and posters decorated with the wacky, bizarre and baroque characters Geordan creates, including his namesake Yeti. The Quarrelsome Yeti was spawned through Geordan’s love of silkscreen printmaking.
