I am a painter, potter and photographer with art training through courses and workshops with several well known artists, photographers and potters on the East and West coast. I belong to Artspa, an art group of talented, supportive artists and Visual Arts Nova Scotia.

Abstracts and landscapes are the main focus of my paintings and acrylic on paper and canvas is usually my chosen medium.

My photography allows me to experiment widely with color, form and emotion. I initially became interested in photography to capture scenes I wanted to paint. I fell in love with the immediacy of this digital art and the magic of my macro lens that revealed unexpected beauty and interest.

My pottery will be represented here shortly and ranges from the functional to the fun and always portrays my love of design and color.

In all my work, I use color, form and balance to express my vision. I prefer simplicity and single subjects and try to use as little detail as possible to convey what I see and feel.

My work has been shown through juried art shows , galleries, and businesses on both coasts.

My challenge in each of these disciplines of photography, potting and painting is to convey how the final work makes me feel.
