James Forren

James Forren (he/him) is a Canadian Permanent Resident of European settler heritage, and is an Associate Professor at the Dalhousie University School of Architecture. James’s research is in technology and design, including public installation and working with youth in design. He has collaborated with the Africville Museum on documentation of Africville’s urban history and exhibited previously at Nocturne. James also organizes the SoA’s Experiences in Architecture program, which provides African Nova Scotian youth with an experience of the day-in-the-life of a Dalhousie Architecture students.
