Joël Brodovsky-Adams is a ceramicist originally from Winnipeg in Treaty 1 Territory. He now lives and works in Kjipuktuk/Halifax. Working in ceramics for eight years, he recently completed a post-bachelors studio certificate at NSCAD University. Primarily working in porcelaneous clays, he is interested in the thrown form and the manipulation of pattern and imagery on their complex three-dimensional surfaces. He draws much of his inspiration from reflection on the queer club and party scene.
