Halifax based artist Renée Forrestall works with two-dimensional images derived from print, textile, digital and video sources. Her interest in unrevised art making processes. She is a passionate community arts facilitator who has worked for over twenty years with the Halifax, N.S. Down syndrome Society. In 2006 Renée created Team Possibles an arts collective for people with Down syndrome. Her driving passion is to integrate, celebrate and develop community awareness for the Ds Culture through art.
