Audiences are invited to read our instruction manual entitled “How To Be A Good Friend” and practice their support skills by consulting with characters inspired by real life experiences.

Dramatic Changes’ artists are facilitating a community arts project that invites audiences to reflect on what it means to be a ‘good friend’ and what it means to support your peers. An instruction manual entitled 'How to be a good friend' has been created for this project for people to use when supporting their friends and peers. Characters and interactive scenarios were developed, inspired by lived experiences, and will be performed in pairs. The audience can approach the performers, one of which will be in character and holding a sign advertising ‘Free Consultations.’ The other performer will guide the audience in interacting with the manual and act out an interactive scenario where they can practice the act of ‘support’ by engaging with the consultative performer.
