Into the Woods
The Dart Gallery & Arnie Guha present Into the Woods, a large scale video projection, 'light box' pieces that will be installed in various locations along Portland Street, and a gallery show.
A five-minute looped video will be projected onto the exterior of the former Dartmouth City Hall building. The video will include stunning visuals that are mapped onto the building’s architecture. The imagery will move from water to land, from urban landscapes to rural communities, from earth to space and beyond.
Light Boxes will transform viewing flat artwork into an experiential artistic moment with a glowing invitation to the viewer to immerse themselves into the artwork itself.
A proprietary production process has been developed whereby stunning A4Y images are reproduced onto acrylic allowing the works to be backlit with LED lighting panels and thus, allowing the Light Box to illuminate.
For the Dart Gallery exhibition, QR codes will be placed beside selected works. Each QR code will link to a short video of the corresponding artwork in motion.
