Creating A Community Art Journal

The Nova Scotia Book Arts Group (NSBAG) invites visitors of all ages to print, draw, or stamp their ideas and feelings about art in the community, and everyone’s contributions will be assembled into a handbound book during Nocturne 2023.

As the content on each page is completed by community members, NSBAG members will bind it into a book. The content and structure of the book will be created simultaneously and at the end of the evening, the result will be one large art journal with artistic contributions from all participants.

All supplies are provided for this family-friendly fun event. Plans are to include the finished book as part of a future exhibit of handmade books for the community to enjoy. Free bookmarks will be printed on-site for visitors to take home.
