The Nocturne Art at Night Society's Annual General Meeting (AGM) for our 2020-21 fiscal year will take place on July 13, 2021 at 6:30 pm (AST).

The AGM is a time for the membership to contribute to the work undertaken by the organization. During this time there will be the presentation of annual reports, consideration of motions, and the election of the Board of Directors.

After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing the link you can use to join the meeting. All are welcome to attend the AGM.

For ease of procedure via Zoom, only votes in opposition to motions, and self-nominations, will be recorded in the chat. You can download Zoom in advance for free and you will need a good internet connection. See below directions on how to join the meeting.

TO JOIN THE MEETING:

  1. Click on the link above to register for the meeting. This will send you an automated email with a link to join the meeting and, if you like, to add it to your calendar.
  2. On the day of the AGM click the link that was emailed to you (not the registration link) which will prompt you to download or open Zoom.
  3. If prompted, enter the passcode included in your confirmation email.
  4. You will enter a virtual waiting room until the AGM begins at 6:30 pm. This is when we will admit all attendees.
  5. Please ensure your mic is muted during the AGM and presentations.
  6. If you have a webcam you may choose to turn it on or keep it turned off as per your preference.
  7. We will be utilizing an online closed captioning service which can be accessed upon entering the virtual Zoom room.
  8. We will be troubleshooting any technical issues. Please use the chat function to let us know of any issues you are experiencing.
  9. During the AGM, if you want to make or second a motion, vote in opposition, or ask a question please type it in the chat function rather than un-muting your mic or raising your hand).
