Community building sculptural ceramic planters to "green" our Centre for Craft.

In this community building project we invite you to help create new sculptural planters for the Centre's two Seaport locations. Local ceramic artists, Kate Grey and Kaas Ghanie, have designed clay bases shaped after the Citadel, Halifax Commons, Public Gardens, and Point Pleasant Park - today's cherished recreational green spaces that also commemorate our military heritage and colonial birth. Roll some clay snakes, learn how to stack coils, and help build future Green Spaces that will transform the industrial, concrete, grey landscape of Marginal Road where the Centre for Craft Nova Scotia cultivates creativity, artistry, and originality.
