beheMOTHS

beheMOTHS is a digital exploration of the lives of moths expressed through contemporary circus. Through this digital exhibition (photography and/ or video), we will enter a super-sized world of the moth, highlighting their importance to ecosystems and how our human behaviour is impacting their survival. Themes explored include echolocation used by moths, light and environmental pollution created by humans, pollination, flight, camouflage, mating and others. The exhibition will be available online to the Nocturne audience from October 13th-17th, 2020 inclusive.

The diverse group of artists participating in this exhibition are troupe members of Breaking Circus, the only Black-led professional contemporary circus troupe east of Montreal.
