DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN - Peace & Friendship Park

As part of the Downtown Halifax Business Commission's DELIGHTFUL DOWNTOWN program, tree-wrapped lights are installed throughout Peace & Friendship Park, as well as other parks and street segments.

These illuminated enhancements add a wonderful pedestrian experience to the parks, as well as offer an opportunity for persons to enjoy an inviting and vibrant setting within Downtown Halifax. The additional lighting in green spaces and along walkways also adds a perception of safety, as folks travelling at night had well-lit pathways to guide them to their destination.
